HAMA GENERAL ASSEMBLY
HAMA's first general assembly is tentatively scheduled on Saturday, 26 July 2008, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. The newly
opened Paradise International Seafood Restaurant which is located at 1465 North King Street (right across from Farington
High School) was offered for our use by HAMA member Alejandria A. Benitez, ChE '67, who owns and manages the place. Since
we are just a small group of about 30, the restaurant is suitable and convenient enough. A plate lunch with two or three
choices plus a soda will only cost us less than $10 and there is a wide variety of Filipino food choices in their menu
aside from other local favorites such as poke and some shasimi and sushi. The place which will allow us to conduct a meeting
and also have an affordable lunch.

Homecoming and Convention on May 17 will be disseminated. Members will be informed of our association's plans and activities
and how the members could be involved. We will also be electing the 13 HAMA Board of Directors who will be tasked to
administer and manage the affairs of our Association. It is hoped that all the members will find time to join this
important annual gathering and not miss it. And bring your spouse along so she (or he) will get to meet the other
spouses and also enjoy the tasty food served by the Paradise Seafood Restaurant.
